I had my gallbladder removed in March 2003. I am still having pains in the right upper quadrant just below the rib cage, which after reading some of the other threads makes me believe it maybe SOD. When I get these pains I sometimes have severe chest pain in the middle of my chest that radiates to the back at times. I am taking Nexium but it does not seem to help. My question is do others with SOD have chest pains also or should I worry more about my heart. I did have a stress test about 6 months ago that was negative. This is the same type of pain I had before my GB was removed. It was removed due to a very low ejection fraction. Any help would be appreciated.
