I have this very bad dizziness for 1 week now. It is worst in the mornings. I feel lightheaded, dizzy and totally confused. I went to a ear doctor today. The doc said that there is nothing wrong with my ears but my wisdom teeth might be causing this problem.
I have to study for my exams but i cant do it under this situation. Its really difficult to concentrate.
I hate this dizziness. Can this be anemia or something else that i never heard of?
Thanks

Can you describe your symptoms in more detail, you may wish to go and have a look at the inner ear thread even though the ear doc said it was not your ears. I take it that you have have had blood tests for anemia and your BP measured? Sounds very like labs a viral infection.
My only problem is my dizziness. I feel very lightheaded and feel like throwing out. (i never did yet) It is the same feeling as when you have a hangover after too much drinking.
The doc. checked my ear and said that there is nothing wrong. I am really surprised cause my ear hurts a little.
He just checked it for 10 seconds or something. How can i trust her?!She should have checked it more. Maybe there is something viral.
Can she tell that by only checking my ear with that small ighted device?
I didnt do any blood test for anemia yet but i think i should.
Thanks

Hi,
Well what you describe is classic of labs a viral infection, please post on the inner ear thread and i am sure that you will get lots of answers links and replies!!
It is simply IMPOSSIBLE to tell by looking into your ear that there is NO problem with your ear all that can do is rule out fluid behind the ear drum or a burst ear drum or possible redness of the ear drum.
The inner ear when it has a problem CANNOT be seen by looking into the ear it is impossible. There are many other tests that rule out ear problems and what you describe simply is not one of them.
I have had labs myself and I felt very very dizzy and very nauseated too. But I had additional symptoms my balance felt off and I would feel worse if I moved around.
I would get a blood test for anemia although thats unlikely as you would likely have additional symptoms extreme fatigue and breathlessness to name a few if it were to make you feel the way you do.
Good Luck
