Hi! I am new here, and i have a question. I have had constant post-nasal drip for about 9 months now. Could this be caused by allergies? If so, how do I dry it up? I am pregnant, and I don't see my OB for another coupla weeks, is there anything over the counter I can take?

If you're pregnant, don't take anything without asking your doctor.

This is probably allergies, post nasal drip often is. If you are miserable (dizzy, full headed, etc) you can talk to your doctor about maybe getting a nasal spray. But definetely do not take anything over the counter until you talk to your doctor. Most of them are not recommended for use when pregnant and can cause problems for your baby.
Good luck.

It's not unusual to feel congested during pregnancy, because of increased fluid volume (baby's and placental blood going through your system). Might cause some drip as well. Talk to your doctor about any decongestants. Hypertonic saline irrigation may help reduce congestion.
