Hi
I was diagonesed last year with having HPV after having a colposcopy and biopsy. Subsequently, I was then diagnosed with cervicitis (inflammed cervix). I just had my 6 month pap done and got yet another abnormal result. I am repeating the same cycle of colposcopy and biopsy on Friday. Is this going to be a never ending cycle? Will I ever have a normal pap and be symptom free again? Luckily though I have no physical symptoms except for a heavy discharge. Thanks.

Unfortunately, as long as you have HPV there is always going to be that risk of an abnormal pap. :( Just take care of yourself and try to keep your immune system as healthy as possible and that should help.
GOOD LUCK!!
