Hi. I'm 31, with a son (6), and I'm living with my BF (33) for several months now, but he seems to have a problem of anger management. Since I don't know much about it, it would be very helpfull if someone can tell me what is this all about, how dangerous can it be, and what can I do to help.
We met a couple of years ago, we had a relationship for 6 months then, broke up, and one and a half years later, we started all over again.
It's been so hard for us to get were we are, we have been through a lot of stuff in order to be together, and I want to know if this is something that we can control somehow before I made up my mind after the last fight we had at home. The reason? Some stupid issue he transformed on the mount Everest.

I'm afraid not, I was just trying to illustrate how big he made a little problem look like. Any suggestions on the anger management thing?

well if hes seeking help for his problem things should only get better - i f he is violent then you should not assume he will not be violent again - that is a risjk u need to asses - if he is in some kind of therapy - and maybe he should be - perhaps you wshould ask if you could attend a session with him to find how you can offer support for him - most therapists welcome the input of their clients family

anger management courses are free, they have to do with self-assertion. name-calling is examined, other nuances also : good stuff to know.

Causes could range from economic stress to diet. Less is more with these things... diet is really important in all health matters including mental issues whether or not one takes meds.
