Does anyone know if you have a brain tumor removed what fills in there. Is it just like a hole then or does the brain regenerate itself???

I had a big "hole" from the removed tumor & they were concerned the brain might cave in. What they (DOCTOR) does is fill the space with a slowly absorbed liquid that keeps bad things from happening while the brain decompresses. Sometimes the doctors will take a CAT scan to see how the decompression is going. SO DON'T BE SO AFRAID- HOPE THIS INSIGHT HELPS. ANDREA |
