Whatamess,

Regarding FLEXERIL- The literature says 1 in 100 people have reported some kind of hypersensitivity: Anaphylaxis, angioedema, pruritus, facial edema, urticaria, rash. A % like that is considered "rare".

Regarding TOPAMAX- The lit. actually mentions "photosensitivity" (reaction to sunlight) but as a very rare side effect occurring in 1/100 to 1/1000 patients.

So although rare, that's not to say you're not one of them!

thanks zuzu..I am sorry it took so long to reply...I went to the doc..finally!!!
I was taken off all meds and put on prednisone..My rash is gone and i am not takin any meds that make me sun sensitive but have recently begun to take zanaflex for my burning nerve pain..I cant take going w/out it any longer..So far it doesnt seem to interfere with the prednisone.I am trying to take it as sparingly as i can...Just cant go w/out it completely..The burning was makin me crazzzyyyyyyy w/out proper meds..thanks again
