Hi there... I have neurpoathy in both arms as well as bells palsy and recently had my sural nerve cut and redirected into the bone to try to deal with persistant pain in my ankle due to 12 surgeries in 5 years, and guess what, the surgery was a flop, yes, the skin is numb, but it was not the skin that was hurting in the first place but my calcanius, which has a non-union from repeated calcanial ostyotomies.
I am in the 'waiting game' on a MS dx, and have been tested for everything else under the sun, but the only things that have been conclusively diagnosed are the neuropathy and bells palsy.
My question... or rather what I am seeking, is this... the use of my hands is limited, and I find most 'help' tools such as utensil holders and so forth, clumsy and ungainly, and holding any glass is an accident waiting to happen. Does anyone know of a company that makes a type of 'gripper glove' that might allow me to position my hands more naturally on things? Maybe something that can be strapped on at the fingertips for glasses?
I have already found things to make typing easier, and cheater ways to dress and open doors and the usual daily things, but i still can't hold the average resteraunt glass without being afraid of dropping it.
