I do not have a sleeping disorder. I have always been able to sleep restful nights, for the most part.

Almost a month ago I totaled my car. It hurts because here I am a teenager depending on my parents for transportation again. I felt that I accepted my car was gone and that was the end of it.

About two weeks ago I watched the movie, Gothika. I loved the movie, it scared me. I have no idea if that has anything to do with the point of my story. Two nights after I watched that movie I had a grusome nightmare, made me uneasy and kinda irritable the next day.

The next night I had a dream it was May 23rd, my sister's birthday. It was snowing outside and I was lying in bed watching from inside as everyone else had fun. A lady that I work with explained this dream to me. But I thought that I was really sick when I woke up so I turned my alarm clock off and went back to bed.

Two nights later I don't remember having a nightmare but I woke up at 2:30am and started digging at my head with my finger nails. You know when you have a cut and put soap on it? How it burns really bad? Well, that's what if felt like washing my hair. My scalp has cuts all over it.

Last night I took a muscle relaxer before I went to bed and slept really good. No nightmares, just a solid night's rest.

These nightmares are a part of me pyshologically dealing with my car accident. Is this something I should go to the doctor about or should I just deal with it since I'm still getting over my accident?
