i have a burning tongue that comes and goes every other day. Finally, I remembered a treatment that has been used in the past. I mixed an equal amount of Benedryl elixir (pink) with an equal amount of Maalox. I swished it around for about 30 seconds and spit it out. It brought the burning down about 70%. Not the best tasting but hey, it works.
