Hi. I just had my pap smear done and it is abnormal. this is my 4th abnormal. and doc is doing a biospy tues. when I was preg with my 2 child I had an abnoraml one and he looked at me and said I had questionable spots on my cervix, but he wouldn't do a biospy then, because I was preg. I don't have any std's, I don't douche and the only birth control I use is the pill. So why I'm I having abnormal pap smears? any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

You DEFINITELY have been ruled out for HPV? I'm asking because I read somewhere that HPV was the cause for 97% of all cervical abnormalities. Other things, such as smoking, lack of vitamins, just having a baby, could also be the culprits. I would wait until the biopsy comes back and move from there.
