Has anyone tried the WW point system? Has it worked for you? How much did you lose and how long did it take you to lose? My friend passed on a booklet of the foods you can eat and how many points they are worth. Wondering if I should try this? SUCCESS STORIES wanted. thanks.

I'm doing it now. I have lost 13 pounds since March 25. Slow and steady. You can eat a ton of food if you make the right choices, or you can have an occasional splurge. It is a great real world eating plan that I can really live with the rest of my life.

Are You Using The Flex Point Plan Or Winning Points?

Hi there! I have been using Weight Watchers for the past 2 months. (Flex points) I haven't lost any weight at all! And I have been exercising at Curves 5 days a week. I think the Flex points takes longer because it allows you to eat more during the week than the Winning Points. I don't know what is wrong w/ me...thinking about taking pills, but I don't relaly want to. I finally went to the doctor today to see if maybe my thyroid is off because I cannot lose any weight. I'll keep ya posted on if it's my thyroid or just a bad diet. People keep saying to stick with it though, cuz it's the only diet that teaches you the correct way to eat....and that is what is real in life.

Hi! I've used both systems, and I think the Winning Points is definitely better. I agree that the Flex points one allows you to splurge more and the weight doesn't come off as easily. I used the Winning Points a few years ago and lost a little over 25 pounds at about 2.5 lbs/week, and that's stayed off pretty well. I still have a bit to lose, so I tried the flex points, but haven't really lost anything. Good luck!

I Tried Ww Winning Point A Year Ago And Did Well But Then I Thought That Counting Calories May Be Better, So Far Not Great Results, I Am Thinking About Going Back To Ww. I Did It At Home Before , Anyone Else Have Same Experience?

I have found that counting points is much easier for me than counting calories. It helps me focus more on how much fat & fiber I am eating. Plus I know the points to most of what I eat!
Here's an example - 1oz chicken=1 pt. How many calories is that?? Beats me! :D

I use flex points. I do not usually eat all my flex points. You don't have to! They are there if I need them. I have 29 left for the week and they renew on Monday. If you don't lose weight for two months, I would have to wonder if your portion size is wrong or if you are getting enough vegetables and fruit. You should still be trying to eat healthy food if you really want to make a long lasting change. Most people underestimate portion size.

I have been on the WW Flex Points since late October and I have lost 42 pounds. It works if you do it right. I usually do not use the Flex Points, only if I have a week where it seems like my metabolism is sluggish and then a day with more calories can trick it into speeding up a bit. When using the points, you have to remember to spend them wisely, you can't use all your points on carbs, for example, or too many on fat.
It is a great program that when done properly absolutely works. I am not hungry and I feel great.
