Does anyone have a strong feeling one way or the other on what brand of pump is best? Animas recently introduced a very small pump but wanted to hear some feedback.
Thanks

I don't know much about either the Animas or the Cozmo by Deltec. I've got a Paradigm 512 (just upgraded from a 511) and I love it. If you've got some specific issues in mind, I can tell you about the features and what might be relevant to your specific problems, but I can't give you a comparison. I think if you do a google search, you can probably find a site that compares all the pumps to each other. I know one exists, but I don't have the url.

I have a older sister who is diabetic and went on the Paradigm Minimed pump a few years ago. She likes it a lot but has been in the hospital twice now because it had stopped working and was not injecting the correct amount of insulin in. Make sure to be aware of the side effects that can happen if your pump fails.

I may get banned again but I have a minimed. They pretty much have the market in the US. Customer support is awesome the parent company medtonics it is a 50 billion dollar company. Go to www.minimed.com. The bolus wizard take all the guesswork out of using it. About the size of a pager. They even are testing ainternal system and a bloodless glucose system.

I understand minimed just had a product recall does anyone know the details of this? Also what about the customer service at Animas or thoughts on the new Animas R1200? Thanks

The product recall was on the quikset infusion. They changed the design and had some production issues with the kanula. I been using the new design with out issue.
