Has anyone split their paxil Cr pills. I'm hoping to split my pills to reduce the strength. I don't care if the controlled release benefits are lost, as everyone knows that studies show that the control release has little benefit over the immeditate release.
Anyhow, i don't want to be puking all over the place or bloated, so i need to know if anyone has split the pills and what the effect was.

Yes, I have done this before. It never bothered me either. It was actually extremely easy to wean off it it when I split the CR. Do you not like the CR? It actually never worked for me, so I ended up back on the regular paxil before giving it up all together.

This is my first time trying paxil of any kind for anxiety and panic attacks. I lacked motivation while on the drug. I watched more television than i had ever watched in my life and i probably made lower grades on some of my tests because i couldn't have cared less. It did stop panic attacks more powerfully than anything else i had ever taken, and most of all, it greatly enhanced my sexual abilities. I'm hoping to reduce the strenghth to get a less depressive effect. I predict that i would do better on a low dose of regular paxil, but as i still have some cr left, i'm looking for a better way to wean off than taking the higher dose every other day.

Yeah, sometimes these drugs can relax you a little, physically and mentally, so a lower dosage is usually prescribed. Sexual enhancement is interesting, I'd have to say it did the same for me. Usually people complain that it does the opposite.
