Hi All,

Are any of you experiencing muscle and joint aches from Celexa/Cipramil? I've been on this stuff for just over 4 months now and for about 4 weeks now (since upping the dose to 15 mg from 10) I've had all of these permanent pains in my hands, neck, butt, legs and sometimes feet....they sort of interchange with each other. Even my jaw hurts if I start chewing on something tough (like a steak). None of this has happened to me before this drug except neck pain.

Should I try a different SSRI or do they all do this?

Thanks....Scott

I hate Celexa! I got off of it last year because it hurt my back! I had this horrible jaw pain that went into my neck and upper back. (for a long time, I thought it was the Adderall I was taking for the ADD that caused the jaw pain, but it wasn't. It was the Celexa!) I would wake up with my jaw clenched. My upper back went out to the point where I couldn't raise my arm!

On Trazadone now. Like it much, much better!
