I have seen quite a few posts on here of people who were so much worse off after being put on medication. It would be interesting to read YOUR stories all in one place. There are sooo many threads on here and posts, it is difficult to get through them all. Would anyone like to sign in on here with a quick break down of your story and the name of the meds. that you were on?
I am Tanis, and I was on Paxil for lack of energy. My life and my husband and kids went through about two years of hell. I thought everything was wonderful for a little while and talked my husband into going on them as he had been depressed about being out of work, due to an injury. About a month or two later he attempted suicide and I was obsessed with killing myself and taking my youngest son with me. I was totally overwhelmed with life, which was not there before the drugs. I finally went off the Paxil and put my kids into care for a while until I could crawl out of the fog I had been in. It was not as easy as that, but this is just a quick run-down. I went into a little more detail in the thread (by Sandella).
P.S.
Please.........anyone that is on medication, and doing well, don't take any of these stories to heart. I am only interested in trying to inform people who have not taken any yet, into knowing the risks. The doctors do not know who can take what drug, or even if you need them. They do not tell you the risks. People need to know. There may infact be something out there that I should be taking, but until there are tests out there, I will get by. :)
