Has anyone had anything done that really helped get rid of those small lines and wrinkles under the eyes? Like peels, dermabrasion, or injections? I tried Botox once; it only worked for the lateral lines, i.e, crows' feet. Pearl900

Hi Pearl.
I am one month post op from a upper and lower eye skin pinch. that has helped with the undereye wrinkles, and trust me I had plenty. I am still a bit swollen but I can see that alot of the wrinkles are gone. I also had fat repositining underneath the eyes to fill in the hollowness under my eyes. So far everything is looking awsome. What state are you in?

I'm in CT. And can you describe exactly what the eyelid pinch is; does it mean skin removal? Thanks! Pearl900

Hi Pearl,
It actually is skin removal. My surgeon used Von Graffe forcepts to cut a pinch of skin on the upper and or lower eyelids. I read an article he was quoted in saying that he uses this technique because you could see how much skin you (the surgeon) is removing because the skin in pinched up. This way he knows exactly how much he is cutting and he avoids the risk of under or over resection of the upper or lower eye lids. I love it it makes my face look fresher more youthful. I hope that helps!!

Thanks - I've been told I'm just starting to get excess skin on my lower lids, which is where the wrinkles are starting to occur. My upper lids were done recently and are still tight. I've been told to wait awhile before I remove skin from the lower lids to avoid ectropion; maybe in a few years.
