I Have been told that i have disc bulge w/degenarative disc disease from my doctor, who order an MRI and Bone Scan . The doctor put me on pain medicene and anti-depressant pills. I'm now going back to my chiropractor and he put me on physical therapy, doing back excercise here at home. I've been out of work since september, 2002,and I have an appointment March,31st to see Dr.Wilkins , he is a pain management and back brace doctor. The question i have is can i get on disability? Does anyone know who i can contact, cause i have three girls and my husband is working hard. So i'll thank anyone who could give my any advice.

After 5 months without working, you can file for social security. I suggest you look into a social security lawyer. I'm not sure if your doctor has said that you are totally disabiled at this time. You doctor has to say you are totally disabiled to receive social security.
