I had a bone marrow biop. done yesterday because of low white red and grans and weight loss, preliminary testing showed dysplasia of cells. That was all the dr would say until he gets the rest of the test back next week. Does anybody know what this could be???

It could mean you have abnormal development or structure of cells within the blood. I have hyperplasia which means an abnormal increase of cells in the blood or tissue. Usually means a pre cancerous condition, not trying to scare you as it is something they will keep an eye on in the future. I've had it since my breast surgery in 96 with the removal of a benign tumor with hyperplasia.
