SHOULD I HAVE TO MAKE A CHOICESHOULD I HAVE TO MAKE A CHOICESHOULD I HAVE TO MAKE A CHOICEI WENT TODAY FOR MY NEW PLATE.. AS U MAY NOW KNOW I WAS SO UNSATISFIED WITH THE GUM LINE ON MY TEMPERARY DENTURE. I WENT BACK TODAY AND THEY MADE ME A NEW PLATE.. BUT NOW HERE'S THE NEW PROBLEM, NOW MY TEETH ARE TOO SMALL.. SHOULD I HAVE TO CHOOSE BETWEEN THE LESSER OF TWO THAT BOTHER ME. SHOULDNT THEY HAVE SOME KIND OF MIDDLE GROUND HERE.. I AM SO FRUSTRATED.. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.. ANY DENTIST OUT THERE OFFERING ANY INPUT WOULD ALSO BE GREATLY APPRECIATED... THANKS FOR LETTING ME VENT FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME IN ONLY 5 SHORT WEEKS.. FAITH :o

Faith I know how frustrated you are. I am not sure this is true but I had heard that that type of clinic that you go to uses a pre-made denture that approximately fits your mouth and they use the details from the impressions to finish the job. That could be the reason the new teeth are so small in comparison to the original denture. You just might have size 6 gums and need size 9 teeth! I am just kidding here but who knows. I have always been curious how they can do extractions, immpressions and return a finished denture to you in less than 8 hours. Do keep on them about this - you are entitled to get a denture that both looks good and fits well.
