View Full Version : Neuropathy?

I was diagnosed in February with an A1C of 6.6 and 2 fasting blood sugars of 121 and 131. Since then my readings have been under control....fasting under 120 and before meals usually under 100. My post meal readings have been ok too. Is it possible to already be having some foot neuropathy problems? I have a vibrating feeling in my feet.....not really any pain or numbness. This began around the time I started wearing orthotics in my shoes because of a fallen arch. Now I wonder if the feeling in my feet is due to the diabetes or the orthotic. Could the orthotic have caused a circulation problem? I guess I should go see my podiatrist soon, huh?

Yes, Noodles...go see your podiatrist. It's quite possible that the orthotics are putting pressure on one spot of your foot and could be pressing on a nerve.
