I am 20. I have been on trileptal for 2 1/2 months and I get heart pounding occasionally and buzzing in my head. It's scary. Does anyone relate to me? Please help!

i got that sometimes when i was taking trileptal.....but i dont take it anymore because it didnt do anything for me.

weasel hey whats up how long did you take trileptal for and how did you stop it? Did you get any side effects from stopping? Did you stop cold turkey, or by the doctor cutting you down? It doesn't help me eathier. i get tired occasionally from it. Hey let me ask you a question. about 3 months ago i stopped seroquel cold turkey. I was on it for 6 years, but it caused me some anxiety and racing thoughts thats why i stopped it, but im back on it now. I stopped it for 1mnth and half and I couldnt sleep that whole time. I develpoed nerve sensations and numbness and panic attacks from stopping, but all i get right now still it nerve sensations. Its been almost 2 and half mnths now and they still dont stop. Would you know anything about this. Seroquel has caused me so much problems I cant even tell you..

I have been taking Trileptal for over a year now. I really have had no side effects. I feel great. You should mention to your doc that this is happening. It may not be the right drug for you.

i weaned off it while i was starting lamictal, and didnt experience any withdrawl. i felt tons better after i was off it.....

I was taking trileptal for about six months....I was so tried i could not stay awake...The weight i gain and the food i ate was uncontrollable....It was like you felt like you never ate so i kept eating.....I would wake up at night in a sweat and i never sweat....I sometimes had the heart pounding not often but sometimes....After all that i had to make my doctor to take me off, now i'm on topamax, this seems to be working for me....

Hey daystar, all these psych drugs cause problems.. Ive been taking seroquel for 6yrs. and I tell you I got a lot of problems from it. I dont get my periods, I have gastrointestinal problems as well. and hormone problems. Trileptal i dont like. but i was put on it because I stopped seroquel cold turkey 3 mnths ago. and by doing that I ended up with a lot of physical problems. I back on seroquel and the problems didnt go away yet. I get numbness and sensations going through me. From the trilleptal i experience my heart skipping beats like twice aweek and heart pounding and slight fevers. How often did you get this for? take care christina
