When I woke up this morning, I went to go brush my teeth and my gum was swollen only near my 5th tooth from the middle at the bottom. It's swollen in the front and back. The tooth doesn't hurt or anything and I can still chew with it, but I have the constant feeling that there is something between my lip and tooth. Does anyone know what this might be?

I would go in and let your dentist take a look. Come back and update? It may be an abcess, it may not be. I wish you luck ;)
