Don't know if I have CTS, I am having an EMG in July, but nights are driving me crazy. Everytime I lay down to sleep at night, I wake up with my hands asleep. Usually it is my left hand, but sometimes my right as well. It's only my hands and I can wake them pretty quick. Does this sound Like CTS, or maybe ulnar nerve?
Thank you

I would say give it some time. I had the same 'rude awakenings' for one month. Now, I don't have that problem.
I still have pains on my hands. usually, I notice they hurt more after using the computer for a long time, or after I eat a meal/drink that is high in fat and sugar.
For right now, i suggest taking sleeping pills for a month at night before sleep. You'll be surprised how much that enough sleep is essential to alleviate this pain.
During the day, take some Vitamins. I take Vitamin B-12, B-1, B-6, Folic Acid and Magnesium. I taken it for over 2 months, and my symptoms are slowly healing.
Sometimes, stress causes CTS. You go to let go of the stress if you are having that too.
Also there are some conditions that mimic the symptoms of CTS. For example, nerve pains due to Herpes is known to cause this. I am going to check for Herpes because I couldn't find a doctor that would give an IGG blood test. If Herpes is the culprit for your CTS symptoms, they would go away in half a year or a couple years from what i heard. The only thing keeping me sane from all this is that I tested negative for HIV/AIDS after 4 months. HIV is very well known to cause nerve pains in the feet and hands.
Check with your doc. to see if your CTS symptoms are not due to some infection or STD. If it is, treatment usually solves the problem.
