during the day? just wondering what everyone does all day, for those of you without jobs or just with part time jobs. i work part time at night. most of the time i can find stuff to do with my day, but sometimes there is either so much to do i cant do anything or i just dont want ot do anything.....as soon as it stops raining i think i will plant a garden. i got seeds and stuff, for both vegetables and flowers. we'll see how it goes, i have a pretty brown thumb.......

After two years of not working (menopause really has screwed up my lifelong lithium plateau) I found a part-time job - at a funeral home! 3 days a week.
On my days off I try to do as little as possible. I'm not terribly domestic and can deal with a higher dust level than the average female.
I sit at the computer alot, I go to my great-nephews little league games, and I am addicted to FoxNews.
I hate going out in the yard if other neighbors are out (not agoraphobic, it's hard to explain) and I've always been a homebody/happy with my own company type of person anyway.
I putter (dust is good, clutter is bad!) and put off lots of stuff if I "don't feel like it".
The basement is my big thing now. It needs hours of attention and I (of course) keep putting it off. Do you think that procrastination is more common in us Bipolars???!!

I sit in my room most days and nights, The last job i had was online and i think i got used to being online too much, not addicted there is just nothing id rather do then learn online, like the biggest library ever known. I sleep when I can and dont when I cant. I have 2 kids home for the summer starting today so we will see.
Take care
Jenn

Hello,

That is a good question. My job allows for tons of free time. Have you ever thought about joining a local charity? Not only would you being helping other people... you would be enriching your life too!

Good luck,
Kat R.
