This is christina, does any ladies experience no periods. because ive been on seroquel for 6yrs now and i have insulin resistance and no periods and facial hair growth. Does anyone experience these things.. When i wasnt on this when I was younger I never had this. I cant even loose weight because of the med. Please help.

Wow! Talk with your dr about this problem. He or she should know what to do.

This sounds like a hormonal imbalance. I would certainly talk to your doctor and have him do some blood tests.

I have been taking seroquel for 2 yrs due to being bipolar. I have never heard of it causing no periods or facial hair. I have not had a problem with weight gain with this medication, infact i have lost weight since being on this and celexa. Again i would contact your doctor and have them run tests to see what is really going on. Good Luck lonelyangel
