Based on your own experience or experience you have witnessed, do any of the popular methods for regrowing hair work as well as they say? Rogaine, Propecia, etc.?

I am a male, almost 32 years old. I have a receding hairline and balding at the crown pretty badly. My only recourse so far has been to get shorter haircuts, but I am growing tired of that. I have considered just shaving completely, but I would like to explore restoration options first. Any thoughts on any of the products out there?

And to those who would suggest just living with it and women find bald sexy, etc., thanks for the thoughts, but this is something I need to make myself feel better.
