I just found this board while researching types of dentures. I have been wearing uppers and a lower partial for the last 5 years with no problems.
Any way, I was wondering if anyone has a full lower denture being held by implants and how do you like them, and has anyone had the new mini implants put in for the lower denture. Thanks in advance. :)

I have heard good things and bad ones with the mini implants. As far as I know they can work for the bottom dentures, but as far as I have seen, they do not last as many years as traditional implants and are mostly used temporarly to stabilize the denture until conventional implants are ready to be used. Hope you find more info. about them to help you make your decision. The are also another type of implants I have heard about called midi implants, but I don't know much about them. Marti
