I got a mohler extracted on the left side of my bottom jaw two days ago, and now I cant open my mouth, and it hurts on that side when I swallow. Is this going to go away or should I be concerned?

Most post-extraction side effects usually resolve on their own with time. Those mainly include localized swelling and pain. What you are describing sounds more of an acute example, it's likely to go away with time but it depends on the underlying cause. It may require treatment

If this isn't too severe to interfere with your daily function, I suggest you consult your dentist if it does not improve or gets worse in the next few days.

I just had 3 molars extracted yesterday, and yes I can feel it when swollow, and it is a little painful to open my mouth. Keep ice pack on the site, and it will get better. Good luck Marti
