Okay, I'm goign to sound real dumb now. I was shown on a different needle how to use them and read them. I read the instructions for this needle and think I'm useing it correctly. Can anyone confirm?

it is a B-D 1cc short needle. It says that the total dose syringe would be 100 units and that each line is 2 units. there is a line for 10, 20, 30, and so on to 100. I think I'm doing it right and reading each line as 2 units. The doctor dosed me at 1 unit for each 25 over 180 and 1 unit for each 10 carbs. I have only had one day that I felt bad later but I think that goes with the territory.

Okay no more rambleing.

Jim... It looks like you are doing it right. One thing to point out is that you might do better with a 50U syringe. Each line is only 1U so the math might be easier for you with your sliding scale. HTH
