Hello, I havent been to  this message board in a really long time. I have some questions if someone could help me? I was diagnosed with Hashi's Hypo about 2 yrs ago. In the last 6 months or so I have been having some of the symptoms but not all of being Hypo again. My Tsh and FT4 is fine. I keep my TSH at about (.6) Seems to work best for me. Anyway. I was in the hospital for a severe stomach ilness. They did a cat scan and found a thickening on my left adrenal gland and some cyst on my right kidney. My doctor has wrote me orders for a Fasting Cortisol Serum test. He feels I might be getting cushings disease. My symptoms are right side pain that never goes away, Depression anxiety, Muscle aches Anxiety and headaches and acne. My hair is not falling out. That is the first thing to go when Im hypo. But I am gaining weight and are struggling to loose it.
Is thickening of a adrenal gland the same as a cyst? Does it sound like Cushing's to you? If so is he ordering the right test to find out? I dont know if this pain in my side is from the adrenal gland or is muscle? It is constant but tylenol helps it. Thanks for reading.

I realize Cushings is the opposite end of Addisons, But from what I have read alot of people end up with addisons after being treated for Cushings. Depending what caused the Cushings in the first place. I thought that maybe someone on here might of had a similar situation. If it is caused by a growth or tumor and they have to remove the adrenal gland. I will keep reading. Thanks for your response.
