I talked to my endo on the phone yesterday, and she said that at my next appt she is going to be doing a TON more tests on me, some that aren't even relevant to Addison's (not sure what they would be, but she said she would talk to me about them at my appt) including testing me for Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia. Is it even possible for me to have this, since no one has caught this until now? Wouldn't that have been something that was discovered when I was born, or at least when I was a child? I'm 26 years old. Is this something that can be discovered when you are a young adult? Just curious if it is, or if she is just testing for no reason. Thanks!
