losers 05-30-2004, 04:17 AM I was just wondering if anyone else gets terrible headaches from vicodin? kmartian 06-14-2004, 10:56 PM I took Vicodin before having back surgery and had no side affects at that time. I did not need to take the medication again until 9 months later when something else was aching. And did I ever get a headache when I took it! So, you are not alone. Haullie 07-02-2004, 03:13 PM Vicodin or Hydrocodone as the professional word for it is, works very differently for each individual person, some people have energy, some people get exhausted, some people have backwards effects, side effects and some people namely myself get no side effects at all. Unfortunately getting Vicodin is extremely difficult for most people who suffer headaches. But if you're one of the lucky it really is a process of elimination just as with any drug. You have to find the right drug to fit the right chemistry of your own body. kovena 07-13-2004, 12:47 PM Vicodin or Hydrocodone as the professional word for it is, works very differently for each individual person, some people have energy, some people get exhausted, some people have backwards effects, side effects and some people namely myself get no side effects at all. I took it for a very little while and I got such a bad headache I though I was going to die. It took me 2 weeks to get over that headache with vomitng and dizziness. I found out that I am allergic to Tylenol!! :nono: Never do I take anything with tylenol anymore and it is on my drug allergy list now and documented, but it took me over 3 years for the MDs to believe that I could NOT take Tylenol. They seem to think it is a "cure-all" for everyone! Even people who have told me they are on various things mixed with tylenol I cringe, and they can't believe I could be allergic to tylenol! Why are peole to reluctant to believe that tylenol can cause severe reactions to some people?? I am living proof it does and I suggest you all try to keep away from tylenol. Next time you need a pain med tell them you cannpt take tylenol and let them give you something without it but be wary...so many drugs are mixed with tylenol these days that you would be surprised. You may find that tylenol is NOT the culprit, but I just want you all to know that it DOES cause severe headaches for some folk and triggers migraines. Hope you all feel better....kovena  |
