:rolleyes: Recently my dr changed me from zestoric(lisinopril/hctz) to avapro. He told me to take 2 pills @ 150 mg. However, I only took half a pill 75mg, for about 2 weeks. All was fine except bp stayed 179/86. So i increased to 1 full pill 150mgs. Bp went down to 143/82, so i increased to 1 l/2 pills at nighttime, and that's where my trouble started. Immediately I started to itch terribly, welts on face, back, legs and arms. My eyes hurt and became extremely dry. Should i go back to 1/2 a pill until i see my dr or what? please advise, because for the itching I took alavert, the itching stopped but my eyes still feels dry. My bp is now 120/75, so avapro helped me there but i can't take the itching and dry eyes.
