1 in 5 adults has herpes. I think it's like 80% of them don't know they even have it. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks.

It depends on which type of herpes are you talking about. A study was done of nursing home patients and 90% tested positive for type I - although only about 20% of the people who have type I ever have coldsores.
As for type II - I've read several stats that say its 1 in 5 men and every 1 in 4 women.
