Yes ,
Vitamin B is needed by the body for stress..and we use up more of it under stressfull situations.A B complex would be your best bet. Also magnesium calms the nerves..and is needed for healthy heart, nerves and muscles.
I take these..and they realy help!
I would recomend you take them too!
Hope that helps :)

The B's are hard to digest, make me queezy. Also, because I have so much stress and anxiety with perimenopause just wondering wouldn't that make you feel more stressed cause B's give you energy? Also, what type of magnesium do you take? I was taking mag oxide and it gave me diarrhea. I now take slow mag, which is calcium and magnesium but two pills only gives you 212 mg. of calcium and 128 mg. of magnesium. Can you help me here, please?

I have the same problem with the B's, even at 50 mgs., the smell alone from the bottle makes me nauseated. That's from the Niacin. Even if I buy a good multi with at least 50 of the b's that smell is in there. When I take one, I get nauseated and have indigestion for hours and can taste that as well.
So all I can do is take the otc brand of any kind and then try and eat well to get the b's. I know it's not as good but after spending a fortune on various better brands, I ended up throwing them away because of that problem.

I absolutely cannot take Calcium or Magnesium at higher doses than the minimum daily requirement otc. I will bloat and get diarrhea. And this is a real problem because I am lactose intolerant(no dairy) and my sources of calcium are limited.

However if you can handle it, there are some powdered varieties to try which a good health food store has. Maybe in a drink, mixed with a juice or milk, you could handle it. This has not worked for me as they run through me.
I wish you luck....Solange.

Magnesium Citrate...is what I'm taking now..yes I got diarea from the the regular magnesium. The Citrate is easier to absorb into the body..with less side effects. As for the B vitamins..yes they do make you a little queezy..but so do my meds.I always take them with food to avoid any upset.I usually take my magnesium one in the morning and one at night. The B vitamin I take with my supper.
