I had a punch biopsy done on the bottom of my foot 5 weeks ago, it wasn't stiched and I have been limping around ever since. I feel this is ridiculous, I have had other moles cut out and have been fine the next day (they had been stiched). The cut has now got quite a large scab on it and has begun to lift which makes walking very hard. I feel like such a sook at work because I am still limping after 5 weeks. Has anyone else had this done? When will the scab drop off? Will it be really painful? When will it heal???? It is so frustrating!

TRAC1,
I had a punch biopsy done on my left calf about 2 weeks ago but it was stitched. The area has quite a scab on it & looks redder & worse now. No pain. I am following the derm's advice of covering with vaseline & bandaid. Your biopsy is in a much harder area to heal. Good luck. I think time will heal both of us.
