dumb question-if i go to the tanning salon and wear maybe like a 25 spf sunscreen is there still a good chance i may get burnt? i have a wedding to go to on friday and i want a little color but dont wanna get burnt. I have somewhat of a base tan. thanks.

Another thing you could do is tell them that you haven't been tanning in a long time or tell them if you have never been tanning.. and ask them how long they think you should stay in because you don't want to burn. You will probably stay in for about 10 minutes, and I don't think you will burn. If you do burn really really easily then you might want to try sunscreen I guess..

You could use a sunless tanner & save your skin some damage. :cool:

Ask about their beds. Some have higher burning bulbs. They are the cheap beds. Ask about the beds where you will not burn, but tan...the bulbs are different. I used to use the good beds and within 2-3 times I was nice and golden. And I never use a lotion, sunscreen or any of their expensive lotions. I tan just fine without them.
