Hi,
I was wondering if there were more girls like me who have the problem of having very light eyebrows. I used to color them up with a pencil, but now I dy them. The only problem with dying is, that they are too dark in the beginning and after 3 weeks you need your pencil again to color them.
Is there a surgery or treatment for this? (The hair in my neck is way darker than my eyebrows, maybe they can implant them into my eyebrows?)

I had the same problem and I got permanent makeup. They "tattoo" the color in with pigmentation. It looks wonderful. Just make sure you go to a good place, they are supposed to use pigmentation NOT ink. Good luck! :)

...Many people regret the tattoo eyebrow thing... it usually looks really fake and dont for get that style for the shape and thickness of eyebrows always changes.
i have heard of a product called lipocils thats supposed to make eyebrows grow in thicker. dont know how well it works though.. do a search online.

It only looks fake if you ask for it that way. Some people want them tattooed on too thin and such, and then they look bad. Mine look totally natural. Lipocils don't work, I tried the eyelash lipocils a while back.

But tattooing doesn't color the hairs, does it? I don't have a problem of thin or sparse eyebrows (they are actually quite full), my problem is that the hairs are a little too light. Doesn't that look weird if the skin underneath is dark, but the hairs are blond?
BTW: if that lipocils does work, does it also make your eyebrows look darker? Or is it something to make them thicker and therefor hopefully also a little darker? (more hair or thicker hair can sometimes mean darker hair)

You just need a lighter color dye!

They will match the color very close to your natural color. If you have the hair there and just need more color, use a light brown eyeshadow over your brows. It gives a nice, natural color. :)

I have very sparse eyebrows. Will tattooing affect the eyebrow hairs? I'm so sick of using a pencil and drawing in my eyebrows everyday! I need a permanent solution!

I have the same problem. My eyebrows are very light colored and sparse. I use Bare Escentuals. It's a powder and it comes with a stiff brush. It looks much more natural than a pencil. It also came with a brow gel, but I don't always use the gel, so now when I re-order I just order the powder.
Good luck!

Thanks everyone for your replies! But I'd rather leave the dye behind and have something that lasts longer than a month. Now is there anyone that experienced darker eyebrows after applying lipocils or Rogaine?

The permanent makeup doesn't affect the hairs at all, it just colors in the skin underneath. They match it very closely. I have light eyebrows and my permanent makeup (med. brown) looks great.

Mmm, then I don't know about the tattooing...I have very full eyebrows with parts that are very blond. I don't think the tattoo will be very visible underneath those hairs, nor look very natural. But thanks for the advise. ;)
