has anyone tried fastert clearasil ultra. it's supposed to clear up your skin in three days. Or has anyone tried clean and clear advantage acne spot treament. This one is upposed to reduce siz or redness in one day. If anyone has tried these products do they really work?? What did they do to improve your acne?

Its no different from any other bezoyl peroxide treatments. If your skin can handle it any type of benzoyl peroxide helps reduce acne.I have very oily skin and personally only like using the 10% Panoxyl cream.

I find that salicylic acid works better for me - it's also referred to as BHA (beta hydroxy acid). It works within the pore to keep it cleaned out, whereas benzoyl peroxide just dries it up on the surface. I use Paula's Choice 2% BHA solution and SKin Biology's Exfol serum - works great!
You have to remember, too, that it takes 2-3 weeks for a pimple to surface. So when you start using a new product & find you continue to get breakouts - give it at least 3-4 weeks before you decide it's not working.

I use the ultra and like it, it has cut down on the number of pimples on my face, and it hasnt been too irritating either. :)
