Hi Kitty -
So then I think your body is trying to tell you something? We humans are not meant to throw up - only when we are sick, or something has made us nauseous, like food that went bad. So, if your body is not expelling the food, then I'd say you were meant to eat it! I know...this sounds a bit simplistic, but you know? It really is a simple concept. The thing to do is to try not eat
foods you know will make you WANT to throw up later, see? I also need to tell you that your current weight is ideal for someone your height. You are being soooooo hard on yourself, and you sound so upset, but you shouldn't be. And your body is also trying to tell you that by disallowing you to throw up!! Try substituting more veggies and fruit to your meals, and I'll bet you will lose a pound or 2...if you really want to!! But just so you know it's not necessary. I can imagine that you have a perfect figure. You just don't see that for some reason, but I hope and pray you will, and soon!!! Take care!
Hugs

Gaining the 6 pounds you are so worried about might not even have occured because of you eating a lot. You're just growing up..well out. It's normal. I'm 18 years old, 5'7" and 153 lbs. I used to think I was sooo fat when I weighed like 130. Now I wish I weighed that much :) I'm not FAT.. I just have some fat on me. But it's ok, because I'm supposed to have some fat on me. So are you. :)

I go to the gym 5 times a week for three hours a day. I warm up on the treadmil for 45 minutes, then the bike for 45, I do crunches on the ball then I follow up with an hour swim (I used to be a competitive swimmer) I miscarried last year and was having trouble loosing weight. I would always weigh myself and not loose hardly.
I signed up with a trainer (and nutrionist) who are available through my fitness center and I started measuring and not weighing as much. Sure enough although the inches were coming off I was gaining muscle as I was loosing body fat. Remember muscle weighs more than fat. I don't own a scale now. The only time I get weighed is when my dr does it or when I have my monthly weigh in at the gym. I do get measured every week though.
Don't be so hard on yourself. You may want to try to give your body a little break every now and again. I found that when I was working out 7 days it was harder on my body. You are exercising so much your body needs time to heal. It uses the food you eat to keep it going. Take a day off, even the pros do it.
Keep us posted.

Hey hun, muscle, which you would gain from going to the gym weights more than fat but you'd be more healthy anyway plus look thinner. It's not about weight; it's about how you feel.
It's obvious you're unhappy with your body though. Have you done a body mass calculation to see what your body mass is and how you weight is in relation to your height? I think someone said that you were just about right. If this is true you maybe need help, not in losing weight, but in learning to love yourself and your body. Maybe counselling could be an option? See your doctor maybe?
Take care. I hope it all works out for you. xxx

The weight could be from a number of things... Growing up will do that to you and muscle will make you weigh more. I used to weigh 125 pounds and I thought I was fat... Now I'm 140 (same height, of course, I gained it all this past year in college...) and I am OK with my body. You just have to learn to adjust... Besides, weight isn't everything. Learn to love your body... I'm sure you're beautiful!

Lauralee41077, I know how you feel, I've been trying to lose weight too, and it's just not coming off. It's great that you're exercizing, just don't overdo it. I'm an avid exercizer too, I run two or three miles every day, and walk too. Just so you know, throwing up won't necissarily help you lose weight. I do it, and I've lost some weight, but now I'm gaining it back. So don't think that's the answer to all your problems. By what you've said, you're not fat at all. In fact, you sound really healthy to me! Keep up the good work, and remember, you'll gain muscle weight as you get more fit. Try not to let it bother you. Good luck, and God Bless!
