I use it and I really like that I don't sweat but I HATE the itching and irritation. I last used it on Thursday and my armpits finally just calmed down today and it's Sunday. Anyone have any helpful tips on how to prevent or at least minimize the itching and irritation caused by Certain Dri? I hate to give up on a great product that finally works to make me stop sweating profusely but I also don't want to walk around like a monkey all day scratching my pits all day!!!

I agree, it totally works. But the irritation blows. When do you use it? It stings more after shaving, showers and mornings for me. I use it at night only and just a little. Right before bed. And then i don't need anything during the day.

Can it stop working for someone? I've been using it for a while and it worked great for a long time but recently it seems it hasn't been working as well... I've had the same bottle for a few months- does it go "bad" after a while or what?

Yes, it can stop working because that happened to me too. It has nothing to do with the bottle being old. I think your body gets immune to it. So, i switched to Dove for a few weeks and went back to my old bottle of certain dry and it worked again. I love the Dove too.

maybe your allergic to it or have sensitive skin. the only time it did that for me was the first few times i used it or if i put it on after i shaved. the stinging only lasted for like a minute though.

I have very sensitive skin and the only time it doesn't irritate me is when I put it on right before bed on completely dry skin. Never after shaving and never after a shower. I've been using it for over a year now and it still works great.

If that doesn't work try Maxim. I used it for my non-smelling sweaty underarm and it works great. Now no matter how hot it is no sweaty pits! YAY
You can look it up on line since they don't sell it in the stores.

You're only supposed to put it on before bed. Never after shaving, the skin has to be completely dry, do not use on broken skin, or on irritated skin. if you read the directions you shouldn't have irritated skin. the directions also say if a rash or irritation develops see your doctor. you should always read directions.

When I first started, I used it every night. Gradually, I used it less and less and now I use it every 3-4 days.
