Is there anyone here with Behcet's Disease?

Being a rare condition its always good to talk to other BDers. I would love to hear from anyone with this condition.

I am 34, from Basildon, Essex, UK. I live with my husband Phil who also has Behcets. We met through a support group. We now have a little 12 week old baby girl.

the sheer fact you have a baby seems really positive..
as for the vasculitis.. i beleive it to be wegener's granulomatosis but only a biospoy will confirm it.. the blood is very specfic for this.. but i don't know i'll wait and see i am going to see an immunologist next month

I hope you find some answers for sure and soon to put your mind at rest. Its certainly easier to deal with having a condition such as WG when you have a definitely diagnosis.

Katie is out little miracle and she brings us so much joy. She was born prematurely at 36 weeks and only weighed 3lb 12 oz but she is around 10lbs now!

We have friends in Canada and went there for our honeymoon last year. The friends we have there also have Behcet's Disease and one of them has an 8 year old son with the condition - I hate to see the children suffering. They live in Quebec and we are making a return trip there in September.
