In the last year I have noticed my pores on my cheeks and nose are larger than before. I know this is part of the aging process but my mom has very small seemless pores.
I got microdermabrasion in Feb and it helped for a short period but I know this process thins out your skin and some of the fine lines on my face seemed more predominant.
I started using a good quality Glycolic Acid cleaner only to over dry my face causing it to over produce oil causing it to break out. I have my normal ph restored but my poor size is still disturbing. They are not craters or anything but they do take away from the clarity of my skin. I have tried toners too but it is hard to find one that does not over dry.
Any suggestions?

I have the same problem. So far, the best toner I have found is witch hazel. It doesn't overdry at all and you can use it often. I'm about to go back to it b/c so far it's been the best. I just recently tried the glycolic thing too, and my face is all of a sudden oily, which it never was b/f. How did you restore yours back to its normal ph?

I had the same problem. I never had oily skin until I got one of those glycolic peels done a few years ago. Now the oil drips off and I have yet to find something to calm it. I wish I wouldn't have had that done.
