My hubby is currently in a manic state & has been complaining of pressure in the front of his head.Is this normal?

i dont know if its normal or not, but i get that sometimes too...butnot necessairliy manic, but when i get racing thoughts and stuff

There isn't anything much "normal" during a manic period (!!), but a pressure feeling in the head would be par for the course...

I was having pressure in my head the other day and I believe it has to do with not getting enough sleep. Thus the brain is working too hard and then you get a headache. I suggest your husband take headache medicine.

i dont know about for anyone else, but its not a headache pressure, its just pressure, not necessairily painful as it is almost dizzing....difficult to describe, but def. not a headache

that description sounds like what my husband's pressure was like.He said it was like the racing thoughts were filling his head to capacity & it was like you said, almost dizzying & made him sorta tired not really painful.

My daughter who is 14 is also BP. I have noticed that she complains of a headache as well and she has been taking more headache meds esp when she is in school.
Those who have experienced this do you think it is...
1. Result of a mania period?
2. Result of the meds for BP?
