well im 23, nearly 24 and have had epilepsy since I was 14 and been taking epilim for them ever since.
Luckily my seizures have been pretty much controlled by the medication, though I have had them when I have tried going off the medication or missed doses, though recently I did have more when I don't think I missed my meds.
My seizures have always been nocturnal or as Im waking up and grand mal, but my question today is I have been getting what I can best describe as dizzy spells for years and years now, I havn't really told anyone about them, but what happens is, I seem to lose coordination and my right eye in particular seems to lose some vision, and on a very bad instance it will get fast flashing colours in it.
These dont happen regulary, but when they do they seem to come and go for like a day or too.

Can anyone please offer me any advice if this is related to the epilepsy, if these could be some type of small seizures, or a side effect to my drugs.

Sorry no one else has responded to you. I don't have E 2 of my children do. However, I have been around for some time now and feel safe to say that what you are discribing may be a Simple Partial seizure. Some people get this type of thing with vision as an aura to a larger seizure or on it's own as part of their seizure type.

Please check with your Dr. tell him/her what's going on. He may want to increase meds or add another med to your current one.
