I recently took a fish oil capsule and subsequently had a severe case of anaphylaxis shock and had to go to the ER. I am okay now, but I want to know which type of fish I may be allergic to. I will go in for an allergy test in two weeks. The fish oil capsules had the following types of fish in them:
1. Salmon
2. Sardines
3. Herring
4. Anchoivies
5. Mackarel

I have eaten salmom many times without problem. I may have had an accidental anchoivie on a pizza. I have never had sardines, herring, or mackarel. Any inofrmation you can share about your experiecnes on this issue would be greatly appreciated! God bless! Dave

So are you allergic to any shell fish? or gellatin?

Good question. I doubt it is the gelatin stuff because I have taken many supplements for years that have gelatin in them. I will find out soon after I get my allergy test done on the 28th!
