View Full Version : Mercury Testing

I recently had a urine test for heavy metals. It was a provoked test (DMPS). When the doctor got the report back, it said I had 3 times the maximum allowable amount of mercury (reference was 4 and I had 39!), and was listed as an extremely high. So I started doing some research, and one of the things that I learned was that there should be a reference for provoked and non-provoked testing. So I checked my lab results and it said that the reference was based on non-provoked individuals, so I called the lab and asked them for the provoked reference, and they said they only use the one reference. Can anyone help me with a reference for provoked mercury testing before I panick and start treatment for high mercury? Thanks.
