Anyone have any advice for a girl who has such thin lips that her upper lip disappears when she smiles. I hate it and was wondering if there were any products on the market that can help make lips fuller.
Thanks!

Well there are some lipsticks that fullen lips. Also lipglosses tend to make your lips look fuller (shiny lipsticks as well). Max Factor used to have hyperfull lipstick, I'm not sure if they still sell it. Anyway, look it up in the internet about how to make your lips look fuller. I'm sure there are lots of products and lipsticks out there that might help.
I wouldn't do cosmetic surgery... it's fake. And sometimes they mess up real badly or it just isn't what you hoped it would be.

The usual thing is to use a liner right above the edge of your lip on top, and on the edge on bottom. Make sure it is close to your natural lip color so it looks more natural and you won't end up with that odd look when your lipstick wears off. Wear a shiny gloss on top. Avoid dark colored lipsticks, they will make them smaller. I have tiny horrid lips and this is the only thing that looks natural, but it's only subtle.
As for lip plumpers, they don't work. They seem to just swell your lips if they are wrinkly. The only thing that helped me with those was the gloss. But any sticky gloss will do.
I do not know how old you are or how much you want to spend but there is a new product on the market called Restalin and it can plump up your lips and it last six months to a year vs. collagen that only lasts about 3 months.
I am in my early 40s and started using a product by NV Perricone called Lip Plumper and it has really helped add fullness and restore the natural color to my lips. It is $33 for a very small tube but it has lasted several months.
Also, always use a lip balm or gloss with SPF so that you can maintain as much moisture and prevent wrinkles. Once your lips get wrinkled it will be harder to hold color and moisture and therefore make them look less luscious.

I have tried just about every lip plumper out there, and the only one that has worked for me is the one by Sexpot Cosmetics. I considered getting collagen injections before I tried their gloss, but now I don't feel like I need it, which is a good thing, cause I HATE needles ;-)

ok i think u should use shimmery lip stick. like metally but not really. use mabelline's diamond shine in any shade. it gives u a sultry look. oh btw plz don't get lip implants
they look so fake and gross. i highly recommend shimmery and shiny lip stix. my friends have thin lips and it looks good like that. oh make sure ur teeth are white. i hear that when u smile ur upper lip disappears so white teeth are important. try crest white strips.

I just recently bought a product called "The Simon Solution" to plump up my lips. =)
It comes with a lip firmer (I'm not entirely sure if that's what they call it), which is the "first step." You put it on the skin around your lips to eliminate any wrinkles or fine lines...I'm young, so I don't have any problems with wrinkles yet, but it has helped to firm up the area around my mouth, making it look a little more plump. The "second step" is just a lip gloss. You apply it as many times as you want throughout the day. Both of the steps have a tingly feeling to them; it's very refreshing. =)
I didn't really have thin lips to begin with, but I've definately noticed a difference in my lips. =) However, my friend tried it, and she said she couldn't see a difference. So, I suppose, like everything else, it has different effects for different people. But for five dollars, I think it'd be worth a shot.
I bought the product at Wal Mart on sale for five bucks; it was originally about 20 dollars. It's back in the skin care section, and it comes in a white cardboard-ish box. It has a picture of Pamela Anderson on it (supposedly some doctor developed this product for her :p ). I'm sure you can also purchase it at any drug store (like Walgreens, etc) or any place that sells cosmetics or skin care. =)
Oh, and it also comes with a little bottle of under-eye cream, which I like very much. It seems to brighten up my eyes quite a bit and firm up that area. =)
Good luck!
