Back in December of 2003 I started to notice that when I worked out that my chest was tight and I felt short of breath during and after my work out.
It got so bad that I had a hard time working out and going up and down stairs was a little hard. Since then I have had a stress test in January, and echo, 24hr monitor, which all was said to be normal. In the past 2 months I have had a cardio-pulmonary stress test which was on the low side of normal for the lungs and normal for the heart, they said just bad conditioning.
And an EBT scan of my heart which showed zero calcium.
I just dont know why in October of last year I felt great and now I have a harder time working out than I did before.
I am 41 years old, and not overweight, never have smoked, eat good and BP is normal.
Do I need to request some other type of test, or is all of this just panic relatated?

Ok, I just got back from my cardiologist today and the report on my heart card that I have been wearing for the past month showed the arrythmias I have been having, but he said they were normal.
I told him I was still short of breath and sometims get winded when walking upstairs. I asked him about a nuclear stress test or angiogram and he really didnt recommend it since all of my other tests have been normal.
I dont know what to do, I just want to find an answer to my shortness of breath.
